The Taylor Made Transportation Team has had a stellar record of delivering great specialized service to its clients. The team is comprised of well qualified and trained professionals with backgrounds in transportation logistics management & consulting, emergency medical services, transportation motor pool management, project management, government contracting, human resources & staffing, and transportation and safety training.

Allen Taylor ‐ President & CEO

Allen R. Taylor was born in Baltimore, Maryland. His early years were spent preparing for his future to become one of the youngest, successful privately owned minority transportation business owners in Baltimore City, County and surrounding areas.

He obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Maryland, Princess Anne in Hotel/Restaurant Management in 1989. Allen was also recognized for dedicated service to the Student Activity Board of UMES in 1989. Allen Taylor then secured his Master of Science Degree in Transportation/Logistics Management from Morgan State University, Baltimore Maryland in 1996.

With Mr. Taylor’s Masters of Science Degree in Transportation/Logistics Management, he put educational experience to work as an Intern‐‐Project Specialist for Intelligent Transportation Society of America (TSA), where he educated Members of Congress about the national ITS program, identifying the benefits of surface transportation activities within their Congressional districts. With Mr. Allen Taylor’s strong determination, leadership, management skills, along with a true entrepreneurial spirit, Taylor Made Transportation Services, Inc. (TMTS) was established in June 1996.

Surrounding himself with a superior management staff, Mr. Taylor is known for saying “I’m only as strong as the team I build, always putting Aces in their places”. Mr. Taylor also feels it is important to promote from within the organization before searching outside for management. As the President of TMTS, Mr. Taylor continues to be personally involved in all levels of operations.

Recent accomplishments of Mr. Taylor’s include, Recognition by the Maryland Special Populations Cancer Research Network Program, awarded in 2002 from the U.S. Small Business Awards awarded runner‐up for Entrepreneurial Success of the year, and the recipient of Positive People Award for Outstanding Entrepreneur by the Baltimore Times in 2006. Mr. Taylor was also a course instructor at UMES.

Lionel Saxon – Operations Manager

Mr. Saxon joined the Taylor Made Transportation team in 1997 as a professional driver and was later promoted to his current position –Operations
Manager. He currently oversees operations in the absence of the President.

Mr. Saxon is specifically responsible for the coordination and scheduling of shuttle, wheelchair and ambulance services for the Taylor Made Transportation team.

Mr. Saxon is also responsible for managing due diligence requirements and government contracting in the state of Maryland and the surrounding areas.

Maryce Willis – Personnel Manager

Maryce Willis serves as Taylor Made Transportation’s human resources manager responsible for recruiting placement, employee salaries, benefits and other various human resources issues. Ms. Willis is also responsible for some client facing and general marketing.

Prior to joining the Taylor Made Transportation team, Ms. Willis served as President of a Dover, Delaware‐ based staffing firm where she oversaw the entire operation. Overall Ms. Willis brings over 20 years of experience and expertise in human resources, company operations and transportation staffing.

Randy Taylor – Transportation & Dispatch Manager

Randy Taylor joined the Taylor Made Transportation team in 1999 and presently serves as the Transportation Manager.

His specific duties include: routing drivers, scheduling client pick ups and drop offs, managing and communicating with drivers en route, planning and directing safety campaigns and inspection and assignment of vehicles within the Taylor Made fleet.

Mr. Taylor brings a wealth of hands‐on experience to the Taylor Made Transportation management team. Prior to joining the Taylor Made Transportation team, Mr. Taylor worked as a driver for 13 years with various companies including DMT Trucking and Hahn Transportation throughout the state of Maryland.

Mr. Taylor is also certified in Wheelchair Restraint Training, CDL, and CPR/First Aid.

Terry Kaufman – Raven Rock Mountain Complex Operations

Terry Kaufman is the Head of Raven Rock Mountain Complex Operations and oversees 9 employees for motor pool operations and transportation services at Raven Rock Mountain Complex.

Mr. Kaufman’s responsibilities include: hiring, routing, scheduling, dispatching, and payroll. Mr. Kaufman started out as a shuttle driver and was later promoted to his current position of Project Manager.

Prior to joining the Taylor Made Transportation team in 2001, Mr. Kaufman served as project manager for 10 years at Morrison Enterprises, Inc. and Government Contracting Resources Inc.
